JAYANTHI SEVENTHY obtained her degree of Bachelor of Laws from the University of London in 1997.  In 1998 she completed her Certificate in Legal Practice from University of Malaya and obtained the certificate from the Legal Profession Qualifying Board of Malaysia.  She was admitted to practice as an Advocate & Solicitor in 1999.

Jayanthi practises as a sole proprietor at Messrs. The Law Office of Jayanthi at Klang, Selangor Darul Ehsan.

Her practice embraces all stages of civil and commercial litigation (interlocutory, trial and appellate). She has accumulated experience in broad range of matters involving probate litigation (wills), company law (shareholder/Director disputes), land (caveats and fraudulent land transfers), landlord and tenant (trespass / eviction / vacant possession), companies winding up and insolvency matters, administration of estates and matters in relation to matrimonial disputes.

Jayanthi handles conveyancing matters which involves transfer of legal title of real property from one person to another. Conveyancing transaction has two major phases: the exchange of contracts (when equitable interests are created) and completion (also called settlement, when legal title passes and equitable rights merge with the legal title).
