CFP, BA (Hons)
Chin Roiree is a licensed financial planner and associate of MyFP Services Sdn Bhd. She obtained her BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance from Middlesex University London and is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP). She started her career in Banking for 2 years and Accounting for 8 years and has also spent some time in the unit trust & insurance industry for total of 10 years experience.
The attainment of CFP has enlightened her that the current practice of delivering financial products and services in the market is not providing independent and unbiased advice to help clients for making optimal financial decisions. Much of the advice/options available to the public is biased and leads the clients to make impulsive decisions that may not meet their true financial goals or needs as many financial product/services/advice are provided to the clients by agents/intermediaries compensated with sales commissions through the selling of financial products or services.
Roiree is confident to serve clients independently and unbiasedly through MyFP that has been providing 100% Fee-Only financial advisory/services for all clients for many years. The 6 steps financial planning process is used to help clients build professional comprehensive financial plans, appropriately reflecting their unique personalities, lifestyles, goals and objectives, to achieve their financial goals.

She has gained her considerable financial knowledge and experience over the past 10 years in these 2 companies.
The attainment of CFP qualification has enlightened her on the importance of the profession of unbiased and independent financial advice because currently the majority of the financial individuals/distributors are commissions agents and the "advice" given can generally be classified as “sales talks” which will not be able to provide a comprehensive and optimum financial solution to the clients and their family's interests.
Apryl’s is passionate and confident to serve clients independently and unbiasedly through MyFP that has been providing 100% Fee-Only financial advisory/services for all clients for many years. Elijah Ting is a licensed financial planner and associate of MyFP Services Sdn Bhd. He obtained his B.Sc. (Hons) in Nursing and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® or CFPCERT TM professional.

Thus, he decided to move from a commission-based unit trust consultant to a fee-only financial planner and joined MyFP Services Sdn Bhd.

LAWRENCE OOI HAN SIANG
CFPCERT TM, BOT (Hons), CDMP
Lawrence Ooi is a licensed financial planner and an associate of MyFP Services Sdn. Bhd. He obtained his Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Hons) from National University of Malaysia and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFPCERT TM). He is also a Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP). He started his career with SOCSO as Case Manager and is currently the Manager at SOCSO Rehabilitation Centre with 10 years’ experience in the field of disability management. He has also entered the financial industry as a unit trust consultant for more than 5 years in a well-known unit trust company in Malaysia.
Although he has gained considerable financial knowledge as a unit trust consultant, he is always enthusiastic in further pursuing professional knowledge. The attainment of CFPCERT TM has enlightened him that the current practice of delivering financial products and services in the market is not providing independent and unbiased advice to help clients make optimal financial decisions. The current financial market which is sales oriented, commission based with agency framework marketing strategy, leads the clients to make impulsive decisions that may not meet their true financial goals or needs.
Throughout his work with SOCSO as Case Manager, he has seen a lot of unfortunate disabled individuals who solely depend on SOCSO’s pension / compensation for living after becoming disabled due to accidents / illnesses. These disabled workers will normally face difficulties and have challenging life as they lost their ability to earn an income to support their living and at the same time they do not have enough resources. Their situation might have been changed/ improved if they have properly planned their finance especially in the aspect of risk management.
Lawrence is confident to serve clients independently and unbiasedly through MyFP that has been providing 100% Fee-Only financial advisory services to all clients for many years. The 6 steps financial planning process is used to help clients build professional comprehensive financial plans, appropriately reflecting their unique personalities, lifestyles, to achieve their financial goals.
